Clare has exhibited her work in many venues over the past 25 years, including: Time & Space Limited, Hudson, NY; Akin Museum, Pawling, NY; Five Points Gallery, Torrington, CT; Mattatuck Museum, Waterbury, CT; Good News Café, Woodbury, CT; New Arts Gallery, Litchfield, CT; Beaux Arts Gallery, Woodbury, CT; Palette and Chisel Academy of Fine Arts, Chicago, IL;Art at the Powerhouse, Cleveland, OH; AX Gallery, Torrington, CT; Gallery 84, New York, NY; Poway Center for the Arts, San Diego, CA; Salmagundi Club, New York, NY; Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven, CT; and the Washington Art Association, Washington, CT (where she was on the faculty from 2001 to 2012).

After graduating as a Master of Arts in Art Therapy in 2013, Clare worked as an art therapist until 2020. Since then, she continues to explore the intimate attraction of everyday objects in paint and pencil.
